Little late, but: Have a georgeous new jear!

We've gotten some healthy issues during christmas time, visites in hospital included.
But: new jear, new chances. Let's try our best.

Tertia ordered a new sleeping dress,  here it is:

It's an easy t-shirt, without arms,  a little longer and with a ruffle.  The fabric is a wonderful BIO-jersey by  stoffonkel. 

For Primus' christmas fiest, I did some little ZIA:

Those christmas ornaments are made of cornstarch- clay, dried and painted. 

I did my first template,  too:

  

Dear Santa brought me a renaissance-set for christmas:

While I was in Dresden, I visited an exhibition of renaissance paintings. It was very impressive!  Look at this foto I took, it's a sketch for a bowl:

See this wonderful little border down there?

I had to put it in my first renaissance-tile, acompanied by fife and pea-nuckle. 

I'm glad to take new chances, that's why I really enjoy "zenuari2019" presented by Anoeska Waardenburg. If you are following me on instagram, you may know these already.

DivaChallenge #378 and #379, dingsblatz and a spinner

Hello, dear follower!

I did not much tangling this week, but a few tiles I want you to see:

My entry for the DivaChallenge #378:

a little mooka-dingbatz with 123 o'Leary, shattuck, betweed, wud, myswirl, (one tangle, I've forgotten, what it's called) and a tangelation of huggins

And for DivaChallenge #379 a shimmering mi^2 with some sparkling gold:

my first zengem: it took a long time, but finally I did it. I'm pretty satisfied with how it turned out, and it will definatly not be the last one.

And I'm on my spinner of "the twelve days of zentangle". I was very pleased with those light blue and lemon yellow, that came with it.

My son Secundus (8) tangled along with Rick and Maria's youtube-video. He was sitting on our table, ready with the ink and asked loudly: " And how to shade this?", just the way,  I would have done this. Awwww, love this boy! 

Sooo, more tangling ahead, because all the christmas shopping is done. I'm so happy, each of my four beloved children is getting a wonderful gift. But I'm the gifted one, truly, gifted with this four lovely characters and a wonderful husband.

ZIA, tangles and something for christmas

Hello again!

This week I've done some Zentangle Inspired Art (ZIA) for selling at the christmas market of Primus' school. I've made  homemade clay ( 1/2 cup cornstarch. 1 cup baking soda. 3/4 cup water), and built hearts and stars. 

stars with paradox and golden jellyroll:

Icantoo and Tripoli are everything this tile needed. 

I challenged myself to enjoy the blank space between the tangles,  because I used to fill in every little space of a tile. It wasn't easy, but it's something I have to practice.

Black tiles are hard for me to do. I used a jellyroll on black and tried some shading with a white charcoal. I didn't like it. How to shade this?!?

Last but not least, I want to show you what Tertia did for me in the kindergarden. She is 4 and I'm so proud!  Isn't this lovely?

DivaChallenge 377, FullMoonMosaic and other stuff

Welcome!

Although it's been two crazy weeks (all 6 of us are dealing with illness, so mad), I want you to see my last tiles.

First, DivaChallenge 377, duotangle with pokeroot and fengle.

I've started a black tile, but didn't finished it. I did not like, how it looked. But after doing the white tile you can see above, I dicided to go on with it. And that's what zentangle is to me: like life. You make a dicison, and sometimes you're satisfied with it. But sometimes you have to give it a rest, to get another perspective on it. And then go on and deal with what you've got.

Second, just for practice, some cubes.

And third, I've made some christmas cards. They are made for selling at the christmas event in Primus' school. The funds go to Kinderhospiz Mitteldeutschland. I want to do some ZIA for this event, too. I appreciate my 4 kids every day, so let's do something to support other people, who need a little quality time with their family.

Forth I like to present my first fullmoonmosaic by Hanny Nura.

AND finally: We've got our first snow here in Erfurt! (My husband took the picture. I would prefer to take a picture from the beautyful white covered meadow behind our house, but he reduced it to the min. Cars. Well, men. :D)

DivasChallenge 376, Jellyrolls, MosaikProjekt and more

Hi there!

First of all, here's my entry for the DivasChallenge 376. Thanks to Laura, who gives a new challenge to us every week to increase our skills. I've choosen flux and pea-nuckle to create my tile.

I want you to have a look at my tile for the MosaikProjekt of LonettA. First time I take part in this challenge and liked it a lot. For the round section, I took fragments A2, A6, A4 and A11. The two spaces left are filled with Tripoli and Fandance, wich was new to me.

My dear friend Juliane brought some jellyrolls as a gift and now I have to try, how they work.  Here are some tiles:

And the last tile is a just-for-fun-"c"-tile, I used tangle beginning with -c- only.

This will be a long one. So much to tangle, so little time!


I got the idea of the inktober a little late, that's why I haven't done all of them.

Irgendwie wäre der Tangle-Inktober fast an mir vorbei gegangen, deshalb habe ich auch nicht alle Tage geschafft.

My class in Dresden with Simone Menzel was really good! I've seen and learnd a lot this day.   Thank you! Feels like I'm at the beginning of a long journey.

Der Kurs mit Simone Menzel in Dresden war wirklich schön! Ich habe an diesem Tag viel gesehen und viel gelernt. Vielen Dank! Es fühlt sich an, als stünde ich am Beginn einer langen Reise.

DivaChallenge 374

Hey there!

My husband is on vacation at home and my daughter Tertia got her 4. birthday yesterday-  that's why there was not much time for tangeling.
But one thing I couldn't resist to do: the DivaChallenge 374. I used nailpolish and tangled around. There are phicops, FOF, flexecho and mooka.

Tomorrow I'm looking forward to go to Dresden for visiting my first zentangle-seminar ever! I'm so excited to get to know Simone Menzel (simtangle)  CZT and learn much more about  zentangle.

Da mein Mann gerade im Urlaub zuhause ist und meine Tochter Tertia gestern ihren 4. Geburtstag gefeiert hat, hatte ich nicht viel Zeit zum Tangeln. Aber der DivaChallenge 374 konnte ich nicht widerstehen. Ich habe Nagellack genutzt und darum mit flexecho, fields of flowers FOF and mooka getangelt. Den Fleck selbst schmückt phicops.

Morgen werde ich bei Simone Menzel CZT mein allererstes zentangle-Seminar besuchen, ich freue mich schon sehr darauf!
